J Surg Oncol. 2008; 98: 277-82. 効であるが，大量粘液や巨大なケーキ様大網（omental cake）などのために技術的には難度が高いため，経験のある施設で行われることが望ましい。しかし，ランダム化および非ランダム化の前向き臨床試験はなく，いずれも症例数の少ない観察研究のため抽出されず。なかでも症例数の多い観察研究が5件，論説が2件，QOLに関する研究1件の，合計8件の文献が抽出された。 検索資料・参考にした二次資料データベース：PubMed　期間：2000-2020　keyword・件数：腹膜偽粘液腫（pseudo-myxoma peritonei），減量手術（palliative and/or serial debulking surgery）を用いてPubMed（2000年～）で検索を行ったところ，14件がヒットした。
